Melinda is a 43 year-old Native American female. She has been diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder and is borderline Mildly Mentally Retarded. She reports a long history of sexual abuse. For the past several weeks she has been making allegations of sexual abuse by staff at her housing facility. The allegations have been proven to be unsubstantiated. She has medical issues with diabetes and a hyperthyroid condition but is medically stable.
