Case Management Academy for Adults with Co-occurring Mental & Substance Disorders


COURSE FORMAT

The course is an intensive week-long workshop on the foundations of case management for adults with co-occurring mental and substance disorders. Interactive experiential approaches to learning will be emphasized within unifying themes of recovery and culturally competent/appropriate service.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Case managers in the Washington state public chemical dependency and mental health systems desiring an introduction to serving adults with co-occurring mental and substance disorders.

COURSE TOPICS

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Tuition, training materials, room (double occupancy) are provided by the Institute. Each participant is responsible for transportation, meals and an additional room charge if single occupancy is requested.

WHERE IS THE COURSE OFFERED?

The course is conducted at the Western Branch of The Washington Institute for Mental Illness Research and Training at Tacoma, Washington.

WHEN IS IT OFFERED?

Classes are scheduled as needed.
