WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF THE COURSE?
The course
is an intensive weeklong workshop on the foundations of case management for
youth with co-occurring mental and substance disorders. Interactive experiential
approaches to learning will be emphasized within unifying themes of recovery
and culturally competent/appropriate service.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Chemical
dependency professionals, mental health counselors, and case managers who
work directly with youth from multiple publicly supported systems in Washington
state.

The course
is conducted at the Western Branch of The Washington Institute
for Mental Illness Research and Training at Tacoma, Washington.

MUCH DOES IT COST?
Tuition, training materials, room (double occupancy) are provided by the Institute. Each participant is responsible for transportation, and an additional room charge if single occupancy is requested.
