Mental Health First Aid Training
Registration is now open for a 12-hour Mental Health First Aid workshop in Tacoma. This training is open to the public. It is intended for people who are NOT trained mental health professionals. MHFA gives a basic overview of many common mental health concerns, and what to do is someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis.
Topics include:
· Depression
· Anxiety and panic attacks
· Suicidal behavior
· Non-suicidal self-injury
· Psychosis
· Substance abuse
· Eating disorders

Cost: $150 per person. You may pay by check or credit card ( Please see registration form for payment details).
At the end of the workshop, you will take home a Mental Health First Aid manual and a certificate of completion. Twelve (12) contact hours are awarded for completion of the training.
