The Washington Institute offers a variety of training opportunities for both consumers and mental health providers. Listed below are our current trainings, with links to descriptions and registration information.

Classes are generally offered several times a year, depending upon state contracts specifications and funding. We also offer specialized trainings from time to time. Please check back for training dates in the future.
  • Case Management Academy for Providers working with Adults with Mental Health & Substance Abuse Disorders (Adult COD Training)

  • Case Management Academy for Providers working with Youth with Mental Health & Substance Abuse Disorders (Youth COD Training)

  • Certified Peer Counselor Training (also known as Peer Support Training)

  • Safety Training for Mental Health Providers (“Marty Smith”)

  • Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) Training:
    WIMHRT provides training, technical assistance and program evaluation for PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment) teams in Washington State, following national evidenced-based practice standards, utilizing the TMACT (Tool for Measurement of Assertive Community Treatment).
