The Cascadia Revolving Fund is a private, non-profit community development fund that provides loans and technical assistance to small businesses and non-profit organizations in Washington and Oregon. Cascadia lending focuses upon women, immigrant, minority and low income entrepreneurs and business development in distressed urban and rural communities. Three years ago, Cascadia also launched a special fund to support childcare providers. Cascadia has been in existence since 1985 and since that time, has loaned nearly $14,000,000 to more than 300 businesses. Cascadia is mentoring WATF on all aspects of the complex business of developing and operating a revolving loan fund.
