The Graduate Program
Annual Student Reviews

In order to ensure that students are progressing satisfactorily in their course work, the members of the core faculty, including the Graduate Faculty Advisor, will conduct annual reviews of both M.A. and Ph.D. students during the Spring Quarter and will submit a report to the Chair of Women Studies. If the faculty members conclude that the student is not making satisfactory progress, they must provide notice in writing to the student, the Graduate Faculty Advisor, and the Chair. Unsatisfactory progress includes failure to maintain a 3.0 GPA, either cumulative or for a given quarter, and/or failure to maintain satisfactory progress toward the degree, both of which may lead to a change-in-status action by the Graduate School.
