Background
Professor Jeffords has been a member of the Women Studies faculty since 1985. She was Women Studies Director from 1992-1995, Divisional Dean of Social Science from1995 to 2004, and became Vice Provost for Academic Planning in 2004. She received her PhD in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981.

Research Interests
Theory, gender and militarism issues, feminist theory and popular culture.
