Welcome to Women Studies

Women studies provides a framework for understanding how questions of sexuality, race, disability, class, gender, age, and nationality affect not only the ways in which people live their lives but also the environment and society at large.

Women studies encourages students to engage both intellectually and politically with issues of everyday as well as historical importance. Our students learn actively through community internships and by contributing to ongoing movements for social change around the world.
