James A Lutz, Principal Investigator
Jim Lutz is the Principal Investigator for the Wind River Forest Dynamics Plot. His interests are in the rates and causes of mortality, as well as the effects of climate and wind on forest demography. Jim is Research Scientist (Principal) at the University of Washington College of the Environment.

Andrew J Larson, Principal Investigator
Andrew Larson is a Principal Investigator for the Wind River Forest Dynamics Plot. His interests include long-term change in forest ecosystems, especially as related to natural disturbance and forest structural development. He is particularly interested in the use of ecological theory to establish forest restoration targets and guide restoration treatment design. Andrew is Assistant Professor of Forest Ecology at the University of Montana College of Forestry and Conservation.
