Writing and editing sessions for College Admissions Essays ~The Women’s Center staff and MC mentors worked close with seniors to help them successfully complete their college admissions applications. This included help with: editing, writing style, and filling out college applications.

Scholarship Applications ~ As a large majority of MC students and their families cannot afford to pay for college, we help them with the scholarship application process in a number of areas, including:

• Researching scholarship opportunities and compiling a binder to catalog scholarship opportunities which is readily available at the Women’s Center
• Requesting scholarship applications
• Reminding students of available scholarships
• Hosting scholarship writing and editing sessions at the WC
• Writing letters of recommendation for individual students
