1 hour per year......Be a guest speaker and inspire young students to pursue careers that they have never considered! Or facilitate a hands-on workshop session! Or host a group of Making Connections students at your company for a tour and site visit!

1 hour per quarter…..Facilitate a career exploration workshop in order to teach students about a particular field and open their eyes to the possibilities! Or volunteer according to your own interests! Or facilitate training or leadership experiences for students!

4-6 hours per month……Be a Mentor! And make a difference in the life of a student by helping them through the college admissions process and by motivating and guiding them during these important and challenging high school years!

2 hours per week......Join our team of dedicated tutors and spend an evening (or two!) a week at the Women’s Center! MC provides free tutoring and academic support for our students, as they cannot afford private tutors or help. Our tutors help with a variety of subjects, from Science & Math, to English & Social Sciences.

Create your own!.....The Making Connections Program is dedicated to serving underrepresented youth and encouraging their pursuit of higher education. We LOVE volunteers and appreciate any support that an individual can offer. We are open to your ideas and to finding ways that you can contribute according to your interests and schedule.

Zero time?......If you want to support the MC Program and our students, but you do not have time to donate, you can always sponsor a student for a year or more! For only $100 per month, you can ensure that MC is able to serve one more deserving student!
