The winter garden in early April

The dominant feature in Bed F is the Harry Lauder's Walking Stick (Corylus avellana 'Contorta'. This plant is barely visible in the picture just above the flowering magnolia. See the link below for a closeup. The golden colored groundcover in the foreground is a cultivar of heather called 'Gold Haze.' Also adding to the mix is a Hebe with yellow tinged foliage and several rhododendrons.
