One of the highlights of this bed is Stachyurus
praecox with its striking tassels of yellow flowers in late winter.
The Viburnum tinus contributes year-round beauty with glossy
evergreen leaves, a long blooming season of white flowers, and metallic
blue fruit. Towering over the other plants are some old specimens of
Camellia sasanqua in the background.
