Acers or maples are well represented at WPA with the collection of 75 species overall and 90 cultivars of Japanese maples alone. These wonderful landscape plants range in size from 5 foot shrubs to 60 foot specimen trees. Maples are categorized in two distinct ways: taxonomic and horticultural groupings.
