Committees provide the energy and skills that keep the Foundation moving. Progress reports were made and recognized with Certificates of Appreciation by:
Mike Haas of Longview Fibre presented a special report on (npt)2. Lower Columbia Community College is participating in the National Network for Pulp and Paper Technology Training. The focus is providing mill operators the skills needed for world-class mill operations. Students demonstrated their research capabilities in the poster session and the paper machine demonstration featured non-wood fiber pulp that is a research focus in the pilot plant program. |
