A1  0 - 2           Very dark greyish brown (10YR3/2); loam; 
                    strong coarse granular structure; slightly 
                    hard, friable, nonsticky, nonplastic; 10% 
                    shot; abundant fine, medium & coarse roots; 
                    clear and  smooth boundary.

A2  2 - 8           Dark  yellowish brown (10YR3/4); shotty loam; 
                    weak fine subangular blocky breaking to  
                    strong coarse granular structure; hard, firm, 
                    nonsticky, nonplastic; 15% shot; abundant 
                    fine & medium, common coarse roots; gradual 
                    and  wavy boundary.

B1  8 - 18          Dark yellowish brown (10YR4/4); light silt
