A1  0 - 8           Dark  yellowish brown (10YR3/4); shotty loam; 
                    strong coarse granular structure; hard, 
                    friable, nonsticky, nonplastic; 20% shot, '80 
                    stones h.ash; abundant fine ,medium and 
                    coarse roots; gradual and  wavy boundary.

B1  8 - 15          Dark yellowish brown (10YR4/4); shotty heavy 
                    loam; weak fine subangular blocky breaking to 
                    moderate coarse granular structure; hard,
