Dean’s Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
The MSPE (formerly called the Dean's Letter) is an important component of the residency application credentials and is completed during the summer prior to the student's senior year. Areas that are highlighted in the MSPE include an introduction, a review of the curricular and clinical performance, review of specific clerkships and unique learning experiences, special achievements and activities, a brief description of the student’s III-3 Project - and a summary.
