WRITE Preceptor Summary Process & Methodology

The WRITE Preceptor Summary/Evaluation Forms serve to:

• provide feedback for improvement to students
• assure the School of Medicine that students have met the requirements for the required courses
• provide information for residency applications and for the Dean's Medical Student Performance Evaluation (Dean’s MSPE); comments that provide descriptions of specific behaviors are often the most helpful.
• assist each UWSOM clerkship department in deciding upon the student’s final grade for the course.
