Students are expected to perform, and will be evaluated, at a higher level for this four-week experience than for the required clerkship experience as they have now completed all 3rd year required clerkships and essentially are fourth-year students.
The student will earn 4 weeks of Family Medicine Elective credit during this four week elective which is taken during the last month of the WRITE program; students must work with their Family Medicine preceptor(s) during a preponderance of the four weeks.
