The 2001 Foray journeyed to the Trout Lake area of Gifford Pinchot National Forest on the southwest side of Mt. Adams.  The participants included students, faculty, and staff from UW and the University of Puget Sound, as well as several UW volunteers, and U.S. Forest Service personnel: Suzanne Bagshaw, Dale Blum, Alison Colwell, Ken Davis, Sarah Gage, Katie Glew, Robert Goff, Susan Grose, Randall Hitchin, Jesse and Jo Johanson, Don Knoke, Lindsey Koepke, Corrine Miller, Richard Olmstead, Sharon Rodman, David Tank, Doug Williams, Peter Zika.
