The University of Washington, Specialized English Language Programs proudly presents the summer advanced English skills program for Zhejiang University students.

Advance your English communication skills while experiencing all that Seattle and the University of Washington have to offer.

Our highly experienced UW English Language Programs instructors, Sharon McCarty and Wendy Asplin have tailored the English language curriculum in this special program specifically for Zhejiang University students. Both Sharon and Wendy have taught the Zhejiang program more than four times and they are familiar with Zhejiang students’ needs and interests. The course will follow a core cross-cultural communication theme of “Representation in Modern America.” Specific subject areas may include:

To follow in accordance with visa regulations, it is required that you attend all of the scheduled class sessions. However, we understand that you may wish to travel over the weekends. For that reason, we have not scheduled classes on Friday, July 17th. If you choose to travel within the United States during that weekend, you may do so.
