AIDS CORE CURRICULUM
This is a sampling of requirements for IARTP scholars; other courses and activities may be required depending upon one's individualized training program.
1. AIDS: A Multidisciplinary Approach (Epidemiology 530, fall quarter)
2. Principles of Epidemiology (Epidemiology 511, fall quarter)
3. Principles of Biostatistics (Biostatistics 511, fall quarter)
4. Responsible Conduct of Reseach Course
5. Attendance at monthly AIDS Clinical Conferences
6. Attendance at monthly IARTP Research Seminars
7. Training in Ethics of Research with Humans
Each scholar will have a faculty host selected on the basis of shared interests and potential for continued collaborative research. The faculty host will coordinate the individualized training program for the scholar and will serve as advisor for research conducted or planned by the scholar.
