Exercise your brain at Saturday Seminars

Saturdays on the University of Washington campus mean more than football. Fans of the Huskies’ gridiron exploits enroll by the thousands in Saturday seminars, popular lectures by distinguished faculty held before five home games.

Topics this year include:

  • Coping with Information Overload
  • Laser Vision Correction
  • Keeping Your Teen on Track
  • Digitizing Michelangelo
  • Surviving the Big One

The seminars will begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 18, 10 a.m. Sept. 25, 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 10 a.m. Oct. 30 and 10 a.m. Nov. 20.

Reservations are required. Members of the public are welcome, whether or not they have tickets to the football game. Some lectures fill up early; requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 543-2310, or outside Seattle call 1-800-543-2320 and ask for registration. Details about the lectures and registration information also is available on the Web http://www.washington.edu/newsroom/saturday. ¶
