Parking fees up

Transportation fees for the U-PASS and some parking permits increased Sept. 13. The fee schedule is posted in the UW Operations Manual (D 53.4) and on the Parking Services Web site at http://www.washington.edu/admin/parking/fees.html. The Web site also contains helpful links, including information about the new swing shift permit.

Tips for Using Your Parking Permit:

  • Park only in your assigned overflow lot(s) if your regularly assigned lot is full;
  • Park in any unrestricted area only after 4 p.m.;
  • Present your Husky Card for all Parking Services transactions and when requesting gatehouse services;
  • Notify Parking Services of any long-term change in the license plate number of the car you use to commute to campus. Call (206)616-4615 anytime to update your permit information automatically. With current information on file, Parking Services can contact you if your car must be moved or if the headlights are left on accidentally.

    Consult the 1999-2000 Faculty/Staff Parking Guide (mailed to all annual permit holders last week) or the Parking Services Web site at http://www.washington.edu/admin/parking/ for more detailed information. ¶
