Prostate cancer presentation: A program for anyone concerned about prostate cancer is being sponsored by the UW Medical Center’s Prostate Cancer Support Group from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, in room CD-150 of the Center on Human Development and Disability, behind UWMC. Dr. Celestia Higano, UW associate professor of medicine and urology, will discuss “Prevention and Treatment of Prostate Cancer Bone Disease.” Mark Moyal, clinical researcher at the University of Michigan, will discuss “Complementary Therapies for Prostate Cancer.” The speakers will be live on large-screen TV via satellite downlink.
