Communication seminars scheduled this month by the Health Sciences Center for Educational Resources include a two-part series on FrontPage 2000, a seminar on using interactive discussion tools and a session on using Macromedia Fireworks 3.0 to create Web sites. The first of the classes is May 18. These seminars are limited to health sciences faculty, staff and students, with a fee of $50 for each session. Dr. Celestia Higano, UW associate professor of medicine and urology, will discuss “Prevention and Treatment of Prostate Cancer Bone Disease.” Mark Moyal, clinical researcher at the University of Michigan, will discuss “Complementary Therapies for Prostate Cancer.” The speakers will be live on large-screen TV via satellite downlink.
