HS Express Shuttle Route Change
The University of Washington Health Sciences Express shuttle bus will be making route changes effective May 30. These changes are:
The Health Sciences Express shuttle will no longer provide service to Childrens Hospital and Regional Medical Center (CHRMC). With the elimination of this route, there will no longer be HSE bus service through central campus. However, UW faculty, staff, students, medical center patients and their families needing to travel between UWMC and CHRMC may utilize the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) shuttle or Metro bus routes #25 or #75. Medical commodities will be transported between UWMC and CHRMC via the SCCA shuttle.
The Health Sciences Express shuttle will no longer provide service to the Seattle Life Sciences Building on First Hill. Faculty, staff, and students needing to travel between UWMC and the Seattle Life Sciences Building can utilize the HSE shuttle to/from Harborview Medical Center or Metro bus route #9 from Campus Parkway to First Hill. Commodities transported between UWMC and the Seattle Life Sciences Building must be transported via private messenger.
The Health Sciences Express shuttle will continue to provide service between UWMC, Harborview Medical Center, and the UWMC Roosevelt Clinic. Service to these facilities will expand at the end of September.
Revised bus schedules will be available in mid-May on HSE buses, UW transportation commuter centers, Harborview information desk, and on the Web at http://www.washington.edu/upass/HSE/. For more information or to request schedule information, please contact the Property and Transport Services office at 685-1522.
