Nursing Ethics Conference

The seventh annual Nursing Ethics Conference, with the topic “Creating a Professional Climate that Supports Disclosure and Patient Safety in Health Care” will be held Friday, Aug. 3, at the Fishery Sciences Building auditorium on campus. “Gotta Have Guts” race

UW administrative specialist Lois Fink is chairing the “You Gotta Have Guts” Pacesetter Race to benefit the Northwest Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. The 5K run or walk will begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, in Magnuson Park, Sandpoint. Registration opens at 8 a.m. Preregistration cost is $20 before Aug. 15, and participants are encouraged to sign up sponsors before the race.
