UW RSO Mesh is currently having an open call for both fashion designers and models for our annual fashion show on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023! We are a beginner-friendly club that has no paywalls or membership fees, as we want to encourage as many people as we can to join and experience the fashion world! We focus on making free workshops on sewing, modeling, and more throughout the year, but our headline event is our annual fashion show in May.
Here is the link for the fashion designer application. Designers will be required to have at least 2 pieces in their collection, and must submit sketches, moodboards, or works in progress for the application to show evidence of their ideas for their collection!
Here is the link for the model application. Models are required to answer some application questions as well as submit measurements, headshots, and a video of them modeling. There will be 3 mandatory meetings throughout April and May for chosen models, including workshops, walking practice, and model fittings!
Both are due on April 1st, and we will also have a member meeting/Q&A session on Wednesday, March 29th in HUB 334 from 7:30-9PM! Anyone who is interested in either of these is encouraged to join in!
