Studio Manager (Northwest, WA)

Studio/Office Manager needed for a professional artist studio. Duties include inventory management of incoming and outgoing artworks, managing supplies for both the office and studio, handling studio correspondence as well as data management of an extensive archive (digital and material) of images, press and ephemera. The studio manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining an artwork database through FileMaker Pro.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is both meticulous and flexible, someone who is comfortable in a creative and casual environment and who does well working with minimal supervision. He/she absolutely must have an unassailable ability to create and maintain consistency and order within multiple areas of the studio operation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks (online) and FileMaker would also be helpful.
- A working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and digital scanning would be a
plus.
- An interest in contemporary art could be helpful but is not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting at 30/hrs, Monday-Thursday (9:30am-5:30pm)
Starting pay is $20-$25 an hour depending on skills assessed during a training period at the studio.
