The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture is seeking a junior or senior college intern to assist the Communications and Outreach team in all aspects of managing the Office’s events and communications, including preparation and dissemination of print and online marketing materials, pre-event planning and logistics, day-of-event onsite work and planning. The internship requires work in both an office environment and outdoors at events with regular interaction with the general public.
Educational benefit to student: Applied experience in community development and outreach, an understanding of public service and programs, experience working on a marketing and communications team, experience working in arts programing and event production. |

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited educational program preferably studying Fine Arts (Music, Visual or Performing Arts), Arts Administration, Marketing or Public Relations, Event Management and related fields. Start/End Dates: Intern will start late September/early October with a negotiable end date.
Schedule: Intern will work between 15-20 hours/week. Work will be scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Intern may work some weekends and evenings. Salary: Undergraduates will be paid $15.73/hour. How to Apply: complete an online application and include the following:
