Grant funds are available for cultural workers who have suffered financial hardship from the COVID-19 outbreak or have an innovative idea that shows promise in supporting other King County residents. To apply, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Individual who can demonstrate current and ongoing work in the fields of arts, heritage, preservation, or public art.

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Not enrolled in any degree-seeking program.

4Culture has committed a total of $1 million to support King County cultural organizations and workers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including $150,000 for cultural workers during April and May of 2020. When this round of funding concludes, 4Culture will evaluate the need for additional support—we anticipate offering additional grant funds.

Applications that are not funded immediately will remain under consideration through May 31, 2020, and there will be no need to reapply during this time frame. However, applications from other individuals will continue to be accepted.

Grant funds are available for cultural workers who have:

  • Suffered significant financial hardship from the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus OR
  • An innovative idea that shows significant promise in supporting other King County residents significantly impacted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
