{"id":1159,"date":"2017-07-14T13:10:08","date_gmt":"2017-07-14T20:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=1159"},"modified":"2017-07-14T13:12:17","modified_gmt":"2017-07-14T20:12:17","slug":"open-call-for-chase-gallery-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2017\/07\/14\/open-call-for-chase-gallery-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Call for Chase Gallery 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> August 30th, 2017<\/p>\n<section>\n<div class=\"section text\">\n<p>Open Call for Artwork submissions<br \/>\nThe Chase Gallery Exhibition Season 2018<br \/>\nCall Opens June 1, 2017 \u2013\u00a0 Deadline August 30, 2017<br \/>\nApplication link: https:\/\/goo.gl\/VMfL8p<\/p>\n<p>The Chase Gallery is now accepting portfolios for consideration of the 2018 exhibition schedule.<br \/>\nThe Chase is located prominently in Spokane City Hall with hundreds of visitors every month.<br \/>\nThe mission of the gallery is to exhibit works that engage the public, bring people to a new outlook on contemporary issues, feature innovative artwork, and provide space for people of all backgrounds to share their perspective through art.<\/p>\n<p>Two dimensional, sculptural, installation, video, audio (artist must supply equipment), traditional, or experimental artworks encouraged.<br \/>\nIndividual artists, artists teams, or proposals for curated themes are eligible.<br \/>\nThere will be four, three-month long exhibitions next year with an emphasis on group shows. Exceptionally strong work may be considered for a solo exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\nArtists must live in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana. Priority will be placed on residents of the Intermountain NW (Eastern WA, Eastern OR, North ID)<br \/>\nPlease submit:<br \/>\n&#8211; Artist\u2019s statement<br \/>\n&#8211; Resume<br \/>\n&#8211; List of works, include size, year completed, medium<br \/>\n&#8211; Work samples.
