Please READ FULL VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY before making your selection. Note the varying dates and times, as well as positions that require previous experience.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Crowd Control &amp; Ambassador<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat: You will be the faces of BIMA!\u00a0 Be prepared to greet and assist guests with questions and direct guests during specific times.\u00a0 You will be given FAQ short sheets to assist with guest questions. 5 minutes prior to silent auction closings you will alert crowd with bells. Crowd Control will take place in various locations: Check-In area, upstairs and downstairs galleries, roaming, check-in line, etc. Must be comfortable engaging with guests, answering questions about event, walking throughout event spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Bartenders<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat: You will be part of the most popular team of folks at the whole event\u2026 the bartenders! If you are pouring, please make sure to bring your MAST Certification.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Raffle Ticket Sellers<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat: Get dazzled up and help sell some tickets to win fabulous art and prizes! Sellers will engage with guests and answer any questions about our raffle. Ticket sellers must be comfortable engaging with guests in order to sell tickets. Some Ticket sellers will be roaming and others will be stationed at the Raffle station.<\/p>\n<p>Position:<strong> Art Handlers<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat: Volunteers will be responsible for transporting art items throughout gallery spaces after the auctions have closed. Friday Silent Auction Closers will also assist with the Auditorium transition from entertainment location to packing area.\u00a0 Requirements: Must be able to lift and transport heavy objects swiftly and cautiously through gallery spaces in specified time range.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Parking Attendants<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat: The Gateway complex has limited parking locations (garage, out front, upper lot) and we must make sure guests are directed to the right locations. A select group of Saturday guests also have reserved parking in the garage. Volunteers will assist with directing cars to the designated locations by following BIMA\u2019s parking plan.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Silent Auction Closers<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat: As each silent auction closes collect the bidder sheets and return them to the registration area for processing. Then return to galleries to transport art to packaging location. Friday Silent Auction Closers will also assist with the Auditorium transition from entertainment location to packing area.\u00a0 Requirements: Must be able to lift and transport heavy objects swiftly and cautiously through gallery spaces in specified time range.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Live Auction Spotters<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat:\u00a0 Auction spotters must have an acute awareness of any paddles raised during the live auction. Spotters will be stationed throughout the upstairs gallery to assist the auctioneer if he doesn\u2019t see any paddles raised. Spotters should be available prior to event start time to meet with auctioneer for instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Position: <strong>Set Up \/ Tear Down <\/strong>**Lots of openings available**<br \/>\nWatch the magic unfold as we transform the galleries into a beautiful and lively atmosphere for this event!
