With a background in architecture and a deep understanding of displacement and war, Hafez creates photo-realistic, sculptures of the urban landscape of the Middle East. Like many times in history, our world has become disjointed into us versus them, establishments of \u2018other\u2019, and confusion. This conference theme is intended to bravely and boldly call out issues and encourage change through our leadership. As Arts Leaders, it is our responsibility to act as a conduit for connecting people and ideas.<\/div>\n<p class=\"\">We welcome you to submit a proposal that encompasses the ideas of connection, togetherness, and unity. Exemplary proposals should address community and personal connections created through the arts, illustrate ideas through a socially just and equitable lens, and focus on issues that impact a diverse range of practitioners and organizations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong class=\"\">How to Submit:<\/strong><br class=\"\" \/>-Complete the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/collegeofartsandsciencesartsleadership.cmail20.com\/t\/d-l-ndkjrz-ydlijkjlht-d\/\">Call for Proposals form<\/a>\u00a0by <strong class=\"\">Monday, January 14, 2019.<br class=\"\" \/>&#8211;<\/strong>Submissions must include a session title and description, presenter information, and a description of how the presentation aligns with the conference theme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The submission deadline is\u00a0<span class=\"\"><strong class=\"\">January 14th, 2019<\/strong><\/span>.
