The campus has sweeping views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges, miles of wandering beach and forest trails, and a peppering of World War I\u2013era batteries and bunkers.<\/p>\n<p>Creative professionals from all disciplines and backgrounds can take advantage of charming cabins, studio spaces, and a rich array of resources including Corvidae Press and Rainshadow recording studio. These self-directed residencies allow both individuals and collectives to customize experiences that range from creative solitary pursuits to collaborative productions.<\/p>\n<p>Residents can expect semi-rustic experiences in comfortable cabins or apartments. Visual artists have their choice of a few studios of different sizes, including use of the printmaking studio at\u00a0<a class=\"link-color sbm-text link accessible-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.corvidaepress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Corvidae Press<\/a>\u00a0for experienced printmakers. Our campus includes several organizations with whom a resident can arrange to connect such as:\u00a0<a class=\"link-color sbm-text link accessible-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rainshadowrecording\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rainshadow<\/a>\u00a0recording studio,\u00a0<a class=\"link-color sbm-text link accessible-link\" href=\"https:\/\/madronamindbody.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madrona MindBody Institute<\/a>, the\u00a0<a class=\"link-color sbm-text link accessible-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ptwoodschool.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Port Townsend School of Woodworking<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a class=\"link-color sbm-text link accessible-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ptschoolofthearts.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Port Townsend School of the Arts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Know before you apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Centrum uses the Submittable Platform to manage residency applications. Create a free account to submit your application, or log-in if you already have a Submittable account.<\/li>\n<li>For residencies between August-December 2020, the application window is November 5, 2019-February 9, 2020. Artists will be notified by March 30.<\/li>\n<li>Residency Fees: $450 per week for a 1-3 bedroom cabin or apartment. Additional Studio fees: $50-75 per week. Fees based on size of available studio. Reduced rates available for those able to share housing. \u00a0<strong>A limited number of partial\/full scholarships will be available in 2020.
