As an Education Department intern, you will get a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of MOHAI’s Education and Youth Programs Department and will gain hands-on experience working with students in a museum setting. Though most of your time will be spent leading students on scavenger hunts in the galleries, interns also help maintain program materials, run activity stations during special events, and have the opportunity to work on personal projects in an area of their interest. MOHAI’s past interns have cited the skills and resources they’ve gained in this internship as instrumental in achieving employment at MOHAI, the Museum of Flight, the Woodland Park Zoo, and other institutions.
