Hours are, Tues &#8211; Sat. 10 &#8211; 6 pm and after 8 p.m. on First Thursday. \u00a0Foster\/White Gallery is one of Seattle\u2019s most established and well respected galleries. We represent professional artists selling to the most discerning client.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate must have a proven record in luxury sales. We are looking for an energetic, warm and engaging personality to create and maintain client relationships. A high level of attention to detail and knowledge of fine art are essential to success.<\/p>\n<p>This is first and foremost a sales position. Other responsibilities include press communications, managing inventory, gallery maintenance, and exhibition installation.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<br \/>\n&#8211; Exceptional customer service<br \/>\n&#8211; Superior oral and written communication skills<br \/>\n&#8211; High level of professionalism and maturity<br \/>\n&#8211; Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure<br \/>\n&#8211; 3 \u2013 5 years experience in fine art sales, high end retail or a similar environment.<br \/>\n&#8211; Logical thinking and problem solving skills<br \/>\n&#8211; Heavy lifting ability (50 lbs)<br \/>\n&#8211; Comfortable working on a 12 ft ladder<br \/>\n&#8211; Computer knowledge essential<br \/>\n&#8211; A valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n<p>Experience with the following is considered an asset:<br \/>\n&#8211; Commercial gallery sales or luxury sales experience<br \/>\n&#8211; Adobe CS, Microsoft Office<br \/>\n&#8211; Arts administration, art history, communication, marketing<br \/>\n&#8211; Art handling experience<\/p>\n<p class=\"opp-detail-header\">How to Apply<\/p>\n<p class=\"opp-how-apply\">Stop by the gallery and introduce yourself with resume, cover letter and writing sample.
