{"id":3213,"date":"2020-03-16T10:00:32","date_gmt":"2020-03-16T17:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=3213"},"modified":"2020-03-10T08:48:36","modified_gmt":"2020-03-10T15:48:36","slug":"centro-cultural-mexicano-call-for-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2020\/03\/16\/centro-cultural-mexicano-call-for-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Centro Cultural Mexicano &#8211; Call for Work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Centro Cultural Mexicano (CCM) is seeking art and exhibition proposals<\/strong> from individual artists and small groups of artists working and residing in the greater Seattle area.<\/p>\n<p>The selected proposal will be exhibited at Centro Cultural Mexicano at 7945 Gilman Street in Redmond, WA for the month of May 2020. The exhibition coincides with CCM\u2019s annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta, a large-scale arts and culture community festival which brought in over 6,000 visitors in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Mexican, Mexican American, and Latino artists, Indigenous artists, LGBTQ2S+ artists, artists of color, and artists of other marginalized groups or identities are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p>The full exhibition and gallery space of CCM will be available. The space can accommodate two-dimensional work and some smaller three-dimensional work. Any and all works can be available for sale if the artist so desires.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals and small groups are invited to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit:<br \/>\n\u2022 3 images (jpegs only) of examples of the work you propose to exhibit, with titles and sizes.<br \/>\n\u2022 Bio \u2013 100-150 words<br \/>\n\u2022 Artists\u2019 statement. 100-150 words<br \/>\n\u2022 CV<\/p>\n<p>Please submit all these materials via e-mail to carlos@centroculturalmexicano.org by 11:59pm on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
