We raise money to support individuals with neurological diseases and disorders, allowing them to get the therapy they need through grant allocations. Currently, we are seeking interns to support our mission.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Requirements of the Events Intern:<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work with Event Chair<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Contact vendors, acquire prizes, and facilitate communications<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work with committee and volunteers to move projects forward<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Assist in marketing and generating demand for events<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent customer service and quick responses<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must work well in a team setting<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to interact with various stakeholders (Board of Directors, Executive Director, donors, grant recipients, service providers, etc)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Preferred skills and experience:<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Related experience managing or supporting events<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to take direction and multi-task<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong organization skills<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Schedule:<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Meet weekly on Wednesdays at 4pm<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Complete other duties from home or remotely<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Plus One office is located just below Daniel&#8217;s Broiler in South Lake Union.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Role Description Plus One Foundation is a nonprofit serving the greater Seattle area and beyond.
