{"id":4148,"date":"2021-01-05T11:35:19","date_gmt":"2021-01-05T19:35:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=4148"},"modified":"2021-01-05T12:46:40","modified_gmt":"2021-01-05T20:46:40","slug":"hugo-house-seeks-pt-development-and-administrative-assistant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2021\/01\/05\/hugo-house-seeks-pt-development-and-administrative-assistant\/","title":{"rendered":"Hugo House seeks PT Development and Administrative Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Hugo House is Hiring: Development and Administrative Assistant<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Development and Administrative Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:\u00a0<\/strong>Development Director and Executive Director<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong>: To engage and support Hugo House patrons, donors, and volunteers, and to provide administrative support to executive and development staff, including database management and registration duties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status<\/strong>: Part Time\/Hourly (20 hrs\/week)<\/p>\n<p>JOB SUMMARY<\/p>\n<p><strong>CRM Database Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct responsibility for maintenance and management of CRM database (CiviCRM)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of patron and purchase records (donation entry, class tracking, refunds, and membership)<\/li>\n<li>Generate reports and pull data for all departments, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Train front desk staff and colleagues on database usage, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Resolve inconsistencies, user issues, and concerns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Development and Membership Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administers membership program, which includes timely communications to expiring, lapsed, and new members<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate member information in database and schedule for renewal solicitation<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate membership benefits and current trends to build program and administration efficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Supports donor communications including: mailings, donor acknowledgements, and donor benefits in a timely and efficient manner<\/li>\n<li>Records and tracks donor and prospect activity<\/li>\n<li>Provides support to Development Director, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Executive Assistance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates Board meetings; distributes agenda packets, tracks and assists communications, and maintains online records<\/li>\n<li>Edits Word and Excel documents, as requested<\/li>\n<li>Perform general office support duties such as filing, copying, and mailings<\/li>\n<li>Provides ad-hoc project support to Executive Director, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Assists with scheduling and managing executive meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Volunteer Coordination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, hire, and oversee volunteers including tracking and recording volunteer hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.A. or AA degree preferred<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with literature and\/or contemporary writers<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excels at staying on top of multiple deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated excellence in judgment, problem solving, and decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn and adapt quickly<\/li>\n<li>Initiative and the ability to think critically<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with CRM database maintenance, running reports, pulling data<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Discretion with privileged information<\/li>\n<li>Ability to juggle many responsibilities and demands on time<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to prioritize and work independently and also enjoy working closely in a support role with others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1974 prohibits discrimination in employment.
