Think about the many Librarians who answer your questions 24\/7 online and who provide expert advice on research, tools, publishing, writing and so much more!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to expert help\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.washington.edu\/about\/contact\">anytime, anywhere<\/a>!<\/li>\n<li>The tools and resources available through the Libraries: access to books through \u201ccurbside\u201d pick-up, interlibrary loan, electronic books, streaming media, research databases,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/content.lib.washington.edu\/\">digital collections<\/a>, software and more! How have you used the Libraries for your own work\/projects?<\/li>\n<li>Libraries\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.washington.edu\/about\/news\/calendar\">classes, workshops and community events<\/a>\u00a0that build connections and enhance skills.<\/li>\n<li>Libraries support of student research, writing and publishing through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.washington.edu\/openscholarship\">Open Scholarship Commons<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.washington.edu\/ougl\/owrc\">Odegaard Writing and Research Center<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/guides.lib.uw.edu\/arcade\/arcade\">Virtual Media Arcade<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>A librarian who made a difference in your academic career, or supported your research or helped with a special project.<\/li>\n<li>How faculty\/instructors use the libraries to further their research, and\/or how Libraries support teaching and learning in the classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Highlight one of UW\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.washington.edu\/about\/hours\">16 unique libraries\u00a0<\/a>(UW Bothell, Tacoma, Tateuchi East Asia Library, Friday Harbor, etc. ) and the people and resources that are meaningful to your work.<\/li>\n<li>How you see the Libraries\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/uwnetid-my.sharepoint.com\/personal\/shawley1_uw_edu\/Documents\/Documents\/Advancement\/Video%20Contest\/-%09https:\/www.lib.washington.edu\/about\/intro\/mvv\">mission, vision, values<\/a>\u00a0through your own experience.<\/li>\n<li>A combination of all of the above!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Need more inspiration? Applicants must be enrolled\/active at the time videos are submitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Submissions must be entered by\u00a0<b>11:59 pm on Monday March 15th<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Video must be a maximum of 1 minute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>One submission per student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Video must be original content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Video may not be publicly shared until winner announcements are made<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Video production (filming) must not violate the Libraries\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.washington.edu\/about\/policy\/conduct\">code of conduct<\/a>\u00a0or specific Libraries policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Submit videos along with an official UW\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/brand\/graphic-elements\/photography\/personal-release\/\">personal release form<\/a>\u00a0through this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/hjCDLqKkj4SVyfxo6\">entry form<\/a>\u00a0using your UW email address<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Videos must be in mp4 format<\/li>\n<li>You must submit an official UW\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washington.edu\/brand\/graphic-elements\/photography\/personal-release\/\">personal release form<\/a>\u00a0with your video<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Additional release forms must be submitted for any other students featured in the video.
