This unpaid internship position involves a variety of\u00a0tasks including research, editing, and organizing records, but will be primarily focused\u00a0on compiling records of photographs, slides, and videos in a digitized collection.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities may include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Cataloging the Glass Art Society\u2019s photo and video libraries<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Scanning slides and photos<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Organizing and maintaining detailed records<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Expanding curatorial notes of our photo and video libraries<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Researching the history of glass arts and our organization<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a\u00a0strong interest in archival and registration work, ideally studying art history and\/or\u00a0library science. Preference is given to individuals with some experience in archives and\u00a0records management. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, strong\u00a0writing skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, and a good understanding of formatting\u00a0digital imagery and handling of a database.
