Plasteel Frames Seeks Part-time Framer\/Woodworker<\/h5>\n

For over four decades, Plasteel Frames<\/a> has been the Northwest\u2019s Premier Fine Frame Shop. Regarded as the area\u2019s most innovative shop, Plasteel provides expert fine art knowledge and handling, fine art conservation, frame restoration, hand-crafted frames, various archival mounting services, and an endless variety of streamlined display solutions. In addition, Plasteel is now offering high quality works of Fine Art.<\/div>\n

Plasteel Frames has an open\u00a0 position \/ positions in both our custom framing department and in our wood shop where we manufacture closed corner hardwood picture frames for both our local clients and out-of-state customers ( High end Picture Framers, Nationally ). Ideally, we would like to find someone with both an interest in custom picture framing AND wood working, but will accept applications for either or both positions.<\/div>\n

We will be offering the work as part time to begin with a possibility of increasing to full-time (full-time positions are offered health care benefits).<\/div>\n

Rate of Pay would begin at $13\/HR during the assessment period ( to last up to 2 weeks ) and if hired, would be raised to Seattle’s current minimum wage ($16.69\/HR)<\/div>\n

All candidates should state why they feel that they would be the correct choice to fill either or both of these positions and in doing so should also state where exactly their interest lays. ie: fine, precise, detailed work, woodworking in general, framing in general (mat cutting, frame building \/ production, fitting, etc. ), specialty framing (Mounting \/ Stitching Art, etc. ).<\/div>\n
