This position works closely with the Customer Service manager to support Pratt staff, instructors, and students. The administrative assistant is a part-time position that reports to the Customer Service Manager. The position is approximately 8 scheduled hours per week to start, and will transition into more hours after an initial training period. Pratt\u2019s hours of operation are 9AM-10PM, Monday-Sunday. Desired shift availability includes, but is not limited to: M-F 12PM-3PM, TH-SUN 5PM-10PM. Administrative assistants can expect to work between 8 &#8211; 15 hours a week, depending on availability. Black, Indigenous &amp; People of Color (BIPoC) are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Provide a welcoming reception environment for all constituents<br \/>\n\u25cf Provide initial information about Pratt to the public, potential students, studio artists, and volunteers<br \/>\n\u25cf Answer general questions about classes, facilities programs and galleries<br \/>\n\u25cf Process all requests for registration, memberships, studio access, etc.<br \/>\n\u25cf Ensure that studio access policies are being followed, including issuing studio user cards and verifying all Studio Access Program requirements have been met and reporting violations to management<br \/>\n\u25cf Ensure that office supplies, forms, copier paper, and other office equipment are stocked and in working order<br \/>\n\u25cf Give tours of Pratt&#8217;s studios and facilities<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf Strong Customer Service skills<br \/>\n\u25cf Ability to type 35 Words per minute<br \/>\n\u25cf Experienced user of MS Office with focus in Excel and Word<br \/>\n\u25cf Operate Multi-line phone system<br \/>\n\u25cf Competence in serving diverse populations<br \/>\n\u25cf Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> $17.50\/hr.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease submit a resume and a letter of interest to Customer Service Manager, Ezzie<br \/>\nTurner (by email: <a href=\"mailto:eturner@pratt.org\">eturner@pratt.org<\/a> or by mail: 1902 S.
