Each quarter, we will engage UW alumni to speak on their expertise in the following broad themes:\u00a0<strong>Careers with Impact, Identity in the Workplace, &amp; Innovation in Action<\/strong>. During Fall 2021, we\u2019re excited to offer the following sessions, where students will be able to hear tips, experiences, insights and recommendations from 2-4 UW alumni. Each panel discussion will start as a moderated panel, and then move into an open Q&amp;A with the audience. Most of our sessions throughout the year will not be recorded, so we look forward to \u201cseeing\u201d our participants virtually, in real-time.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/careers.uw.edu\/events\/2021\/10\/06\/non-tech-in-tech-alumni-panel-discussion\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/careers.uw.edu\/events\/2021\/10\/06\/non-tech-in-tech-alumni-panel-discussion\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1633624334895000&amp;usg=AFQjCNH-C0G10x5bMCtWaRCnQZpT2ixlkA\">October 6<sup>th,\u00a0<\/sup>4:00pm \u2013 5:00pm: Non-Tech in Tech<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The tech industry is booming and Seattle is home to many rapidly growing tech organizations that require a broad range of skill sets and roles to operate. If you\u2019re interested in working within the technical industry, but you\u2019re not in a technical major, join us as we hear and learn from University of Washington alums currently working in the Seattle tech industry. Join us as we hear and learn from University of Washington alumni who are currently working to create inclusive working environments within their organizations. They will provide tips and strategies to help prepare you for your own reflection and research as you seek a position!
