{"id":5283,"date":"2022-01-20T15:09:16","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T23:09:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=5283"},"modified":"2022-01-20T15:09:32","modified_gmt":"2022-01-20T23:09:32","slug":"5283","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2022\/01\/20\/5283\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Artists: Mural Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bellevue College Outdoor Murals Project is a series of large non-permanent murals celebrating <strong>social equity<\/strong>, <strong>social justice<\/strong>, and the <strong>diversity of the BC community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission is open to entry by both individuals and groups from the BC community. \u00a0(see full eligibility below)<\/li>\n<li>Those selected for display will be paid an honorarium of <strong>$2000<\/strong> upon delivery of their work.<\/li>\n<li>Artwork for the murals will be selected by the BC Outdoor Murals Committee, a group of BC students, faculty, and staff.<\/li>\n<li>In selection, preference is given to submissions by current students and groups including current students.<\/li>\n<li>Each artwork selected will be displayed in a large-scale wheatpaste mural format at one of several sites along the main student and pedestrian corridor on BC\u2019s main campus.<\/li>\n<li>Bellevue College will handle printing and installation through a contractor.
