Some examples are:<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Art:<\/i><\/b> Visual art, such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, even tattoo artists. Art produced by digital means like animation, film, and graphic design as well. Fashion would fit here as well.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Entertainment:<\/i><\/b> Any type of public performance, amusement, or distraction. We are still very much looking for music to feature BUT we are also looking for entertainment in every other form\u2014 performance art like aerialists, dance, theatre, spoken word, etc. As well as festivals, concerts, and even video games.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Culture:<\/i><\/b> Culture covers the customs,\u00a0 traditions, values, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social groups. Within each form of art and entertainment, there is a cultural identity. Art has always been a reflection of the world that we live in. Artists are constantly making political statements about their views in their art. Take this into consideration when pitching and account for popular culture, consumer culture, ethnicity, and counterculture views.<\/p>\n<p><i>Very broad. <\/i>We are talking about cultural identity, changes in direction, or movements happening within an art form. This also gives us the opportunity to talk about political current events, race, nationality, sexuality, ethnicity, gender, social class, and ability in ways that intersect with culture, art, and entertainment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Cannabis \u2013 An important section within our Culture coverage<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cannabis reporting is no longer niche to High Times. Cannabis has been part of art and entertainment culture since far before it was ever legalized so it is only right that as the culture grows that RIZE is part of that progress.
