GENERAL PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sound Transit has an exciting paid Art internship available for the summer of 2022! This is a great\u00a0opportunity for currently enrolled\u00a0undergraduate or graduate students who want to observe and participate in real world application of their current field of study. This opportunity will allow\u00a0the intern\u00a0to gain valuable experience within the Design, Engineering and Construction Management (DECM) department under our Architecture and Art division.<\/p>\n

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sound Transit Art Program (STart) utilizes 1 percent of construction budgets, as identified in each voter-approved capital initiative, to bring a human scale and thoughtful detail into the large transportation infrastructure that Sound Transit builds. Sound Transit\u2019s Art Program touches all facets of Sound Transit\u2019s facilities throughout the Puget Sound region \u2013 Link, Sounder, ST Express, and Tacoma Link. The STart intern will have an opportunity to be a part of the team that enhances the passenger experience.<\/p>\n
